At the Gates is the first Chapter Pack in the King's Landing cycle for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game.
Featuring three copies each of twenty distinct cards, this Chapter Pack marks the beginning of the sixth cycle of Chapter Packs for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game. The King’s Landing cycle takes a new approach to the Game of Thrones LCG. Rather than following the plot of A Song of Ice and Fire, this cycle is centered around the capital of Westeros, allowing you to explore the world of Westeros more freely than ever before.
Your journey begins at the great wall that surrounds the capital city. Aegon I Targaryen had seven gates built as the entrances to his grand metropolis in honor or the number sacred to the Faith of the Seven. Now in At the Gates, the great Houses of Westeros gain access to these blessed locations. Each gate is a low-cost location that can provide you with income from their tolls and the chance to sacrifice them in exchange for two draws if you embrace the spirit of your chosen House. Additionally, this Chapter Pack features new versions of beloved characters, embracing the plots and deadly intrigues of A Song of Ice and Fire with the continuation of the shadow keyword, first reintroduced in the Dance of Shadows cycle.
This is an expansion pack. A copy of A Game Of Thrones The Card Game Second Edition is required to play.
